North America: A Growing Market for Airport Infrastructure and Technology
GATE’s participation, together with its member companies, highlights the increasing importance of the North American market for German airport solution providers. The United States and Canada have experienced significant growth in passenger traffic in recent years and face the challenge of adapting their infrastructure to rising capacity demands. Substantial investments in modernization, expansion, and sustainable technologies will be required in the coming years to meet the future needs of passengers, cargo, and operators.
For several years, GATE has presented itself and its member companies at the ACI-NA Annual Conference & Exhibition to promote market access for German airport solutions in North America. By taking over the organization of the German Pavilion, GATE strengthens its role as a central platform and partner for German technology providers in the international airport sector.
“North America is one of the most dynamic markets for airport technology worldwide. With our presence in Toronto, we want to demonstrate how German innovation helps airports become more efficient, sustainable, and passenger-friendly,” explains Jens Reinhard, Managing Director of GATE.
