For STEM in the classroom: The "Zukunftsflieger" has landed!

categories News

Thanks to the great support of our aviation community, the first Zukunftsflieger experiment kits have landed safely at our headquarters. Now the exciting phase of distributing them to schools in Hamburg and the Hamburg metropolitan region is about to begin.

Our aim is to work with as many teachers as possible and support them in their work to get pupils in grades three to six interested in STEM subjects. The Zukunftsflieger experiment kit provides the perfect basis for lessons, working groups or project weeks.

What can the pupils experience with it? For example, building a rocket engine from a balloon. Or find out why a paper airplane flies. These are just two examples designed to inspire children in a playful way and awaken their desire to explore.

In total, the Zukunftsflieger kit offers twelve experiments from the fields of aviation and space travel for children aged eight to twelve. The underlying scientific phenomena are taught in a playful, entertaining and realistic way. The kit is suitable for use in elementary school science lessons in grades 3 and 4, as well as in science and technology lessons in grades 5 and 6 at grammar schools and district schools.

For teachers, using the experiment kit means no extra work: it contains everything they need to get started with the experiments straight away, such as instructions, materials, templates and record sheets.

We cordially invite teachers in Hamburg and the metropolitan region to take off with us and order a Zukunftsflieger experiment kit for their classroom at zukunftsflieger@hamburg-aviation.com

If you also want to get young people interested in aviation and the associated professions as early as possible, support our initiative: make schools in Hamburg and the metropolitan region aware of the Zukunftsflieger.

Great news from the MINT Conference Hamburg 2024!

Our "Future Flyer" is taking off and becoming more and more popular! At the MINT Conference Hamburg, we had the opportunity to present our fascinating experiment kit to teachers in person. But that's just the beginning!

Together with our fantastic aviation community, we are now working to organize "Zukunfts Paten"! These experts will act as support for the teachers in the classes and project weeks.

What are "Zukunfts Paten"?

They are passionate experts from the aerospace industry who use their experience and stories to make lessons even more lively and practical. Their personal support will help to make this exciting topic more tangible for pupils.

Together we are shaping the future!

We are delighted with the positive response and look forward to working with the "Future Mentors". Would you also like to become part of this initiative or do you know someone who would be a perfect fit? Then send us a message to: zukunftsflieger@hamburg-aviation.com
