From 30 March 2025, easyJet will be significantly expanding its services from Hamburg Airport: the British airline is adding two new routes to its program and will then fly daily from the Hanseatic city to Rome Fiumicino and Milan Malpensa. easyJet currently flies from Hamburg to Basel, London Gatwick and Manchester. All routes can be booked immediately.
“We are delighted to be able to announce this great news at the end of the year. easyJet's decision to further expand its services at Hamburg Airport once again confirms the strength of the Hamburg market. It is particularly pleasing to see that airlines are recognizing and taking advantage of the opportunities offered by our location in these challenging times. The new connections to Rome and Milan are an enrichment for our route network and offer our passengers even more variety in their travel planning - both holidaymakers and business travelers will benefit from the daily connections,” says Christian Kunsch, CEO of Hamburg Airport.
Stephan Erler, Country Manager for Germany and Switzerland at easyJet, says: “We are delighted to have been approved as a ‘Remedy Taker’ for short-haul flights in Milan and Rome and to be able to further expand our offer for German travelers to Italy with the opening of our new bases in Milan-Linate and Rome-Fiumicino. More than 500,000 seats are available to our customers on the 6 new direct connections from Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Munich, giving us even more choice for their next trip to Italy, whether for a city break or business trip.”
