Airbus, the largest aviation company in the Hamburg region, has announced its financial results for the full year 2024, showcasing a robust performance and a positive outlook for the future. The company reported consolidated revenues of €69.2 billion, a 6% increase from the previous year, and an EBIT Adjusted of €5.4 billion.
These results reflect Airbus’ resilience and strategic focus on key priorities, including production ramp-up of its civilian airliner portfolio.
Airbus delivered a total of 766 commercial aircraft in 2024, including 75 A220s, 602 A320 Family, 32 A330s, and 57 A350s. Of these, half of the A320 deliveries were assembled in Hamburg, with Hamburg’s Finkenwerder facility contributing fuselage sections for every A350. The company’s commercial aircraft activities generated revenues of €50.6 billion, reflecting a 6% increase from the previous year. The order backlog at the end of December 2024 amounted to 8,658 commercial aircraft, highlighting the continued demand for Airbus’ innovative and efficient aircraft.
Looking ahead, Airbus has issued its guidance for 2025, targeting around 820 commercial aircraft deliveries, an EBIT Adjusted of around €7.0 billion, and a Free Cash Flow before Customer Financing of around €4.5 billion. The company remains confident in its ability to achieve these targets, assuming no additional disruptions to global trade or the world economy.
