Centerline Design

Centerline Design GmbH is a development service provider with locations in Quarnbek, Hamburg and Kiel as well as a temporary location in Toulouse. 
Centerline Design offers innovative solutions and services in the fields of design, engineering, digitalization and prototyping. With many years of experience in aviation, rail transport, shipbuilding and mechanical and assemblyengineering, our interdisciplinary team can cover the entire product development cycle - from the initial idea through to series production.

A core element of this is the workshop at the Kiel site. Here, individual parts, assemblies and even complete prototypes are manufactured using additive manufacturing, wood, foam and metal processing and the production of fiber composite components. 
Our main field of activity is aircraft cabin development. Here we have relevant expertise in concept development, validation, verification and integration of cabin systems. We can draw on valuable know-how and experience from the development of the A380 and A350 families. 
In addition, Centerline Design is constantly exploring the latest methods and technologies and conducting research and development. The focus is on new, sustainable materials, digital system development approaches such as model-based systems engineering and the use of XR technologies in product development.
In addition to its customer- and solution-oriented approach, Centerline Design attaches great importance to sustainability. Through its Ökoprofit certification and environmental partnership with the City of Hamburg, Centerline Design can demonstrate the successful implementation of ambitious environmental measures, such as an energy and waste management concept and monitoring by independent sustainability experts in the team.
