Igniting enthusiasm for STEM subjects among students and bringing aerospace to life in the classroom: With the “Zukunftsflieger” (Future Aviator) Experiment Kit, we transform the classroom into an adventure playground, allowing children and young adolescents to explore their curiosity through play and discover their interest in STEM topics (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
The Zukunftsflieger Kit offers a total of twelve experiments in the fields of aerospace for ages eight to twelve. The underlying scientific phenomena are conveyed in a playful, entertaining, and relatable manner. The kit is suitable for science lessons in years 3 and 4 of primary school, as well as for the subject of Science and Technology in years 5 and 6 at grammar schools and comprehensive schools.
For teachers, using the experiment kit means no additional work: It includes everything needed to start the experiments immediately, including instructions, materials, templates, and record sheets.
We warmly invite teachers in Hamburg and the metropolitan region to take off with us and order a Zukunftsflieger Experiment Kit for their lessons at zukunftsflieger@hamburg-aviation.com
The experiment kit comes with accompanying materials for teachers and is complemented by training at the German State Institute for Teacher Education. Getting up close with aviation: Upon request, we send aerospace companies from the metropolitan region into schools with the experiment kit to provide first-hand reports on how the newly awakened spirit of inquiry can be applied in practice.
