Since 2020, our mentoring programme has been the cornerstone of the Hamburg Aviation Young Professionals Network. We connect young talents from the Hamburg metropolitan region with experienced experts in the aviation industry to foster careers and shape the future of aviation. Our Goal

Our goal is to connect the young professionals of the Hamburg aviation industry with each other and with the established community. Through the exchange of knowledge and experiences, we create a dynamic platform where newcomers are optimally supported and promoted.

How does the programme work?

Registration and Matching

After your registration, both mentees and mentors fill out a detailed profile. Based on these profiles, we match the pairs to ensure that interests, goals, and expertise are perfectly aligned.

Kick-off-Event

Each year, we start with a kick-off event where the new pairs meet and begin their journey together. You will also learn more about the programme, the expectations, and get the opportunity to network with other participants.

Regular Meetings

The mentoring pairs meet regularly to define goals, discuss challenges, and evaluate progress. Whether in person, by phone, or virtually – you decide what works best for you.

Workshops and Events

Besides individual meetings, we regularly offer workshops, seminars, and networking events. These cover a wide range of topics, from career development and industry knowledge to soft skills and personal growth.

Feedback and Continuous Improvement

We place great importance on continuous improvement. Therefore, there are regular feedback sessions where mentors and mentees can share their experiences and help develop the programme further.
