Lecturer: Hendrik Dibbern, MSSc, Head of the Cyber Security at Airports Department, BSI
The German "Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik" (BSI) is the German federal authority for cyber security. In recent years, it has played an increasingly important role in the national aviation security network. It acts as a cooperation partner together with various aviation organisations. Hendrik Dibbern will describe the role of the BSI in the field of aviation cyber security. The BSI works in a field of tension between supervision and co-operation. It also deals with future regulations.
About Hendrik Dibbern:
2018-2020 Master of Social Science (MSSc) in International Security and Law at the University of Southern Denmark.
2020 Started working at BSI in the area of Critical Infrastructure in the Transport Sector.
Since 2023 Head of the Cyber Security at Airports Department (Head of Unit W32 - Cyber Security at Airports).
