Helmut Schmidt University/University of the Federal Armed Forces invites you to the first AI Forum 2025 - a new series of events organised by the AI Institute and dtec.bw KIIPS at Helmut Schmidt University/University of the Federal Armed Forces Hamburg. The AI Forum is aimed at experts from research and industry and focusses on practical applications and current developments in the field of artificial intelligence.

Each edition of the forum is dedicated to a specific topic – this inaugural event will focus on ‘AI in aviation’. You can look forward to:
- A keynote speech by Dr Jörg Schaupp, Airbus Aerostructures GmbH, on current opportunities and challenges in the use of AI in aviation
- Concise PhD pitches presenting innovative research work in this field, followed by aposter session
- Networking with representatives from science, business and industry – with drinks and light refreshments (catering will be provided)

The aim of the series is to promote exchange between research and practice and to provide impetus for new collaborations. Future editions of the forum will focus on other areas of application for AI.
