Our development

TECCON is a name that we have built up over the years, even under changing conditions. However, we only realised how strong the brand is after we breathed life back into it, in particular by spinning it off from a group structure and regaining its independence. Since the beginning of 2019, TECCON has been operating independently again following a management buy-out. And is steadily gaining momentum.

Together with a core team of 100 engineers and technicians as well as numerous customers from the aerospace industry, Bernd Büngener and Hartmut Schloh set out on the path to independence with locations in Hamburg, Bremen and Augsburg. The team quickly grew to over 150 employees, and the customer list expanded to include medium-sized companies and corporations from the aviation, automotive, shipping, energy and data processing industries. But trade businesses also appreciate the expertise, quality and reliability.

In order to strengthen its nationwide presence and, above all, its location in southern Germany, the TECCON Group acquired kontech GmbH on Lake Constance at the beginning of 2020. As a result, it is expanding its range of services in the fields of automation and electrical engineering as well as mechanical and plant engineering, growing to over 250 engineers, technicians, economists and computer scientists as well as more than 200 well-known customers and three locations in southern Germany.

By joining forces, we complement each other perfectly and are therefore the ideal partner to support companies in these specialist areas with engineering services. Regionally or nationwide. For medium-sized companies, corporate groups and craft businesses. True to our motto: Competent, flexible and reliable!

Our engineers in our TECCON air division have been planning, designing, projecting and documenting for the aerospace industry since 1975. They have achieved great things in the A300, A380, A330/A340, A350, A400M and Eurofighter programmes and have been involved in many innovations such as the introduction of CATIA design, manufacturing technology, process optimisation, IT tools, paperless production and 3D printing. Major design projects, e.g. the fuselage design with weight guarantee, were successfully completed. We are now ready for further milestones, the realisation of which will ensure clean and efficient air traffic.
