Description: The "Aircraft Design" training course offers a comprehensive insight into the methodology and practice of aircraft construction. Led by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dieter Scholz, an expert from the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, participants will be introduced to the basics and advanced techniques of aircraft design. The course is aimed at engineers, managers, researchers, and interested pilots who wish to deepen their knowledge.
Course Content:
- Introduction to aircraft design and aviation regulations
- Dimensioning and design of aircraft components (fuselage, wings, tail units)
- Cost and environmental assessment
- Future topics in aircraft design (new configurations, fuels, and propulsion systems)
Highlight: On October 1, there will be an exclusive factory tour at Airbus Hamburg, where participants can get a behind-the-scenes look at the production process.
