Trade Mission to Canada in 2026: Online Information Event

Date

The ministries of economic affairs of Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Bremen, Hamburg and Lower Saxony, in cooperation with Hamburg Aviation, are offering a joint delegation trip to Canada on the topic of aerospace from 12 to 16 April 2026. We would like to cordially invite you to join us.

The Greater Montréal area is recognised worldwide as one of the most important centres for aerospace. Bombardier, Airbus, Bell Helicopter Textron, CAE, Pratt & Whitney and more than 230 other specialised companies are based here. It is Canada's number one aerospace centre, with over 43,000 employees in the industry and 75% of Canadian aerospace research.

Join us in Montréal for the Aerospace Innovation Forum, the largest gathering of international decision-makers in the aerospace industry in Canada. On 13 and 14 April 2026, you will have the opportunity to participate in plenary sessions, conferences, workshops, dynamic presentations, technological B2B meetings, a showroom for aerospace innovations and several networking events. The organiser expects more than 1,700 visitors from over 20 countries and more than 100 high-profile speakers.

In 2026, Germany will be the partner country of the Aerospace Innovation Forum, giving participating German companies greater visibility and reach, as well as an exclusive discount on the ticket price. There will also be a joint reception. An information stand run by the German federal states will also serve as a point of contact.

On 15 and 16 April 2026, following the forum, a special programme is planned with visits to important aerospace players from industry and research, which will be organised for the delegation by the Representation of the Free State of Bavaria in Montréal.

The aim of this trip is to open up new opportunities for you and your company in an attractive international market. The exciting itinerary will give you a wide range of opportunities for networking and exploring relevant markets. Your advantages:

  • Meet relevant discussion partners on site
  • Get in touch with interesting fellow travellers
  • Benefit from our worldwide network
  • Tickets for the Aerospace Innovation Forum at discounted rates
