Behind the scenes – Mankiewicz Coating

Date

Aircraft must look perfect—not only when they leave the OEMs’ production halls, but also after many, many thousands of hours in operation.

In exterior, interior, and structural components, highly specialized coatings are used in numerous applications.

They are highly corrosion-resistant, fire-resistant, and high-gloss. With special finishes, they replace heavy materials such as glass or wood, while being highly flexible yet perfectly adhering to both metal and composite surfaces. And they provide protection against everything from rough baggage handling to intense UV radiation.

But how are these coatings actually created? How are they developed, manufactured, and tested?

This and many other fascinating insights await you during the visit and factory tour at Mankiewicz Coatings in Hamburg. You can look forward to an exciting journey into the world of coatings, where you will discover how they can make aviation more durable, lighter, and more sustainable.

We are therefore delighted to offer you an exclusive tour.
