Innovation and leadership in aerospace
ILA stands for “Innovation and Leadership in Aerospace” and is the most important airshow in Germany. It takes place every second year at ExpoCenter Berlin-Schönefeld. Hamburg’s role as the largest aviation location in Germany is clear, with numerous exhibitors from the metropolitan region, including major industry leaders, startups and small businesses. At ILA, Hamburg Aviation is also jointly responsible for the organisation of the International Supplier Center ISC. The north German states also traditionally show their solidarity with a shared chalet, along with a strong political presence.
