Founded in 1986 as Labinal GmbH, Safran Engineering Services GmbH, act as single point of contact for activities in Germany and as provider of comprehensive engineering services for Safran Electrical & Power as well as other aerospace majors. Focus of these services is still on electrical wiring. However, the continuous step-up of requirements to be met by modern aircraft lead to a rise of interdisciplinary optimization and accordingly to the continuous increase of services by Safran Engineering Services GmbH not linked to electrical wiring but to primary or secondary structures, modern composites or cabin design.

In addition the booming market for modifications, be it into military derivatives or private aircraft, leads to an increase of services not part of aircraft development or serial production. Safran Engineering Services GmbH has gained wide experience within several modification projects and is recognized in this field as reliable partner. Since May 2017 Safran Engineering Services GmbH is an EASA DO Part 21.J certified design organization. Skills and capacities, for modification projects as well as aircraft developments are constantly enlarged to meet the expectations of customers also in the future.
