FormTech is specialist for the production of sheet metal and diffusion bonding parts.
FormTech produces parts with complex shape for the aerospace, automotive, medical and general industry.
Special attention is on Mg-, Al-, Ti and Ti-Al-alloys as well as on steel and Ni-based alloys.
Sheet metal forming and diffusion bonding are high temperature processes. These processes offer significant weight and cost saving with high strength materials.
Applied hot forming processes are: Bending, calibration, deep drawing, SPF and DB and its combinations. Parts can be rather complex, are free from residual stress and within tight tolerance.
The processes are suitable for high-quantity and are industrialized.
The product range also includes “hybrid” parts made from FRP/ metall, e.g. Ti-alloys.
FormTech is certified following EN 9100.
Beyond production FormTech is partner in R&D projects, e.g. bi-lateral industrial projects, EU-supported programs, national funding from LuFo, ZIM etc.
