ECARE

European Clean Aviation Regional Ecosystem

Hamburg Aviation is a proud member and collaborator of the ECARE project, a European initiative focused on enhancing the collaboration and funding efficiency within the European aeronautical industry. The project seeks to identify and leverage regional and national innovation roadmaps, creating synergies among stakeholders to meet the ambitious goals of the CA JU Programme.

ECARE tests and refines methodologies for synergy in four key European aeronautical regions—Occitanie and Nouvelle-Aquitaine in France, Hamburg in Germany, and Campania in Italy. The aim is to strategically align funding bodies to maximize financial leverage and operational efficiency, ultimately propelling innovations that contribute to aircraft decarbonization.

As part of the project, an online platform was developed that maps the funding landscape and serves as a database for current funding opportunities, funding projects and stakeholders in sustainable aviation. Anyone can use the platform free of charge and register here

The project underscores the importance of strategic collaboration, streamlined funding, and stakeholder mobilization to foster advancements in green aviation.

ECARE Objectives
