Quality Management Dialogue: Focus on People

Date

80% of errors in a company are due to human causes. Only 20% are caused by machines, tools, etc. This figure may not be new to you... but it confirms that the topic you’ve chosen—#JustCulture—is absolutely the right one!

At our next in-person meeting, we want to further highlight the "human factor" and discuss how Human Factors Training, developed in aviation, can offer targeted added value for quality management. Human behavior, cognitive processes, and decision-making abilities directly influence error rates, process stability, and safety culture. This is precisely where Human Factors Training comes in: by focusing on non-technical skills, it improves how we handle human performance, enhancing operational reliability, efficiency, and decision-making processes.

We are pleased to welcome Jacqueline Kroker as our guest. She is the founder of HFTraining Hamburg and firmly rooted in Hamburg’s aviation network. But not only there—her focus on people is gaining relevance in other industries as well. Together with her team, she offers training and consulting services in sectors such as rail, chemicals, medicine, and shipping.

In addition to exciting input, the event will be interactive again—we value your voice and participation. Join us!

Our events are primarily aimed at professionals working in quality management and quality assurance. The network originated in the aviation industry of the Hamburg metropolitan region and is continuously expanding to include participants from other sectors. We all value looking beyond our own horizons.
