The latest aviation trends and issues, in a North German context

The 7th North German Aviation Forum will be held on 6 October 2022 by Aviaspace Bremen at ECOMAT (Cornelius-Edzard-Straße 15, 28199 Bremen). This year's joint event of the aviation clusters and initiatives of the northern German states is themed "Challenges for sustainable aviation using the example of supply chain and UAV".

In the morning, participants will have the opportunity to visit companies and research institutions in Bremen before the official programme of the North German Aviation Forum continues at ECOMAT.

Increasing prevalence of natural disasters in the wake of climate change, the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and, last but not least, Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine have brought home to us the fragility of supply chains. At this year's North German Aviation Forum in Bremen, we want to address the issues of supply chain security. How can we make our supply chains more resilient in the long term in order to meet the challenges and uncertainties of the present and future?

The event will then examine the future role of UAVs for the mobility of the future. What challenges, opportunities and markets does the UAV segment hold and how can airborne safety be ensured? At the beginning of the year, the EU regulations for the operation of drones in U-Space came into force, and legislators are currently preparing their implementation in Germany. The organisers take this as an opportunity to shed light on the topics of U-Space and UAV certification from a North German perspective.

Registration for the 7th North German Aviation Forum will be open soon.
