Study orientation in a Safe Space - apply now until 30.6.2022

Two programmes promoting STEM studies for female high school and university students or graduates (2022 or earlier) are now open for applications. proTechnicale, a non-profit promoting science and maths courses for young women, runs two variants of its orientation programme, "School" or "Classic". Applications are now open until June 30, 2022. Both programs offer orientation and background information for studies and careers in the natural sciences and maths, and are aimed specifically at young women living in Germany. Digital information events are scheduled for June 8 and 21, 2022, with registration open at www.protechnicale.de. The website offers details about both programs and the application process. The next School course starts on September 1, while Classic kicks off on October 1.

proTechnicale School for high school students

The digital proTechnicale School program runs for five months in parallel to high school attendance and starts twice a year on September 1 and March 1. Participants learn about STEM fields of study and acquire initial specialist knowledge, such as programming. They also strengthen their personalities and are part of a circle mentoring program. In addition to information on further study or career planning, the female students benefit from exchanging ideas with each other and meeting female role models. For more information, click here.

proTechnicale Classic for female high school graduates
The STEM-Gap Year proTechnicale Classic starts every year on October 1 in person in Hamburg. The participants study at the ZAL TechCenter and live in the project's own shared apartments. In addition to STEM technical seminars, they complete internships, discover the world of philosophy and strengthen their personalities. They can earn first credit points for their studies. The young women lay the foundation for their professional network at company speed dates, on excursions, at fireside evenings and personal meetings with proTechnicale ambassadors. Peer mentoring completes the program. For more information, click here.
