Heinze launches IHK advanced training course for industrial mechanical engineering technicians

Beginning June 2023, Heinze Akademie will be launching the IHK advanced training course for industrial mechanical engineering technicians. This course is the IHK-certified counterpart to the state-certified mechanical engineering technician.

Both courses are designed to offer technical specialists a high-quality qualification for advancement from jobs in production, for example, to management tasks in planning, design or quality assurance. The difference between the two courses is that the Industrial Technician in Mechanical Engineering (IHK) does without general education subjects (Maths, English, language & communication) and can be implemented in a much shorter and more intensive way overall. While the full-time course to become a state-certified mechanical engineering technician takes two years and is predominantly based in Hamburg, the Industrial Technician in Mechanical Engineering (IHK) qualification at Heinze Akademie can be completed in just 18 weeks in an intensive, hybrid course that can be attended from anywhere in the world.

The course is designed to be a perfect fit for Aufstiegs-BaföG funding.
