With numerous exciting project pitches and educational keynotes, one of the most successful Innosup-1 projects in the EU comes to a close! In total, €74,000 worth of prizes were awarded to the best pitches and posters, which were presented at the closing event, held in parallel with the EBAN IMPACT Summit to bring together the participation of both communities. Launched with the project objective to demonstrate the viability of new industrial value chains in the textile and aerospace sectors based on advanced manufacturing processes across the EU, the result was presented to more than 110 participants on site. This enabled the innovation flow of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the textile as well as aerospace industries to be strengthened, facilitating the further development of existing value chains as well as the generation of new processes and products. The coordination by the project team has made it easier for SMEs to gain access to the development and application of industrial intelligent systems, the industrial internet of things, and the introduction of Industry 4.0 through the ideas of startups.
