Spitzner Engineers GmbH announces the change of management. Effective April 12, 2018, Lars Meyer succeeds Jörg Spitzner as CEO of the Hamburg based SME.

In the spirit of a family business, the longest-serving engineer will take charge of the business focused on cross-cluster projects between aviation and renewable energies. Founder and namesake, Jörg Spitzner, remains with the company and will be working as a consultant in the future.

Successor Dipl.-Ing. Lars Meyer began his career in 2008 as a development engineer. He held various positions of increasing responsibility and most recently served as operational director of the company. As a trained aircraft mechanic and studied aircraft manufacturer, he was able to set accents in aviation, but also in wind energy. With him, the business continued to evolve.

Today, Spitzner Engineers see themselves as an innovative development office in the fields of aviation and wind energy. The company will continue along this path and continue to pursue new paths in diversification into new business areas.
