For this year's 4th season of the mentoring program, we have been able to recruit nineteen top-class mentors from the aviation industry, who are already eager to enter into an exchange with the young professionals. For a first impression, you will find brief profiles of the mentors in the appendix.

Where are we going together? And for how long?

The mentoring relationship is based on the voluntariness and commitment of the participants. The focus is on the personal relationship between the two people in the mentoring tandems. The scope (including frequency of meetings) and focus of the mentoring relationship are agreed upon individually by the participants. The duration of the program is approximately 12 months.

How is the flight accompanied?

In addition to a get-to-know-you meeting and a closing event, Hamburg Aviation offers a semi-annual meeting of all mentees and mentors to share their experiences and establish contacts with the other mentoring tandems. The Hamburg Aviation Team is also available to assist the tandem with any difficulties that may arise.

The selection process will be as follows:

We will collect all applicants interested in the program by April 13, 2023.

At the matching event on 09 May 2023 (15:00 - 18:00) in Hamburg (location tbd), the potential mentees will get the opportunity to talk to 3-4 potential mentors for 10-15 minutes. Afterwards, an evaluation will be given by both sides. The mentor:in and mentees who have the highest score in agreement will form a tandem and get to work together.
