"Following the Corona crisis, airlines worldwide are investing in new and efficient aircraft fleets. This production ramp-up offers young colleagues numerous prospects in a wide range of career fields. Furthermore, we are preparing for future technologies such as hydrogen. Today's apprentices and students will help shape one of the biggest technological leaps in aviation," said Marco Wagner, Managing Director Human Resources and Labor Director of Airbus Commercial in Germany.
Airbus Operations GmbH and Airbus Aerostructures GmbH are jointly responsible for training in the civil aircraft division. At the sites in northern Germany, 233 young people began training in industrial-technical professions. A dual study program is the entry point for 157.
